Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project

TWDB CWSRF PROJECT ID#73850

The City of Lefors is performing improvements to the existing wastewater treatment plant to increase quality of treated effluent. Important information relevant to the project is outlined below:

Name of project and community: City of Lefors WWTP improvements. TWDB Project #73850

Name of CWSRF administering agency: Texas Water Development Board

Funded in whole or in part by CWSRF: Partially funded by the CWSFR through the EPA

Project Description: Project consists of installing new screw pump and controls, and installation of a new floating brush aerator.

Water quality benefits to be achieved: Treated effluent qality will be enhanced to meet or exceed thresholds of current permit monitoring requirements.
